Check-in/-out in the mobile app
You can check in and check out for your shifts using the Beeple mobile app.
There are two ways to do this:
- Self-scan: Scan a QR code at your workstation (often used by temporary agencies or companies with fixed workstations).
- No self-scan: Simply click the 'Check-in' button (often used by companies without fixed workstations)
1. Self-scan Check-in/Check-out
To check in using the self-scan method, follow these steps:
- Sign in to the Beeple mobile app.
- Go to 'My hours’.
- Click on your 'Active shift'.
- Click on 'Check-in'. (Your camera will now open automatically)
- Scan the QR code provided at your workstation.
- You are now successfully checked in.
Important Notes for Self-scan:
- The Beeple app will always verify your location when you check in/check out.
- If you have a bad GPS signal, you might still be able to check in/check out if your company has enabled a specific setting. Your admin will receive a notification with an estimated distance from the scan location.
- Make sure the scan location has a proper internet connection and good lighting.
2. Check-in (No Self-scan)
If your company uses the no self-scan method, you can check in without scanning a QR
code. The system still uses your geolocation to ensure you are at the workstation, but you might be able to check in from nearby, like a parking lot.
To check in without self-scan, follow these steps:
- Sign in to the Beeple mobile app.
- Go to 'My hours'.
- Click on your 'Active shift'.
- Click on 'Check-in'.
You are now successfully checked in.
To check out:
please do the same steps but the button ‘Check in’ will now be replaced with ‘Check out’ after you have ended your shift.
